This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit massimocastelli.it (the “Site”), create an account or place an order. Massimo Castelli is a brand of NEXUS MODE SRL.

The Site is a wholesale site intended for business customers. It is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
What we collect and why
Device information. When you visit the Site we automatically collect technical information such as your browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, the pages and products you view and how you interact with the Site. We use it to load the Site correctly, to keep it secure and to understand how the Site is used.
Account and order information. When you register or place an order we collect your name, company name, VAT number, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and payment information. We use it to manage your account, to process and deliver your orders, to issue invoices, to communicate with you, to screen orders for fraud and, where you have agreed, to send you information about our products.
Customer support information. When you contact us we collect your name, email address or phone number and the content of your message, in order to answer you.
Legal bases
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we process personal information on the following legal bases: the performance of the contract with you; compliance with our legal obligations (for example tax and accounting rules); our legitimate interests (for example security and fraud prevention); and your consent, where it is required (for example for non-essential cookies and marketing communications).
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and deliver your orders:
- Shopify, which powers our online store. You can read how Shopify uses personal information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
- Our logistics partner ART LOGISTIC DI CM (Via Ettore Majorana 55, 50019 Osmannoro, Sesto Fiorentino, Firenze, Italy), which prepares and dispatches the orders, and the couriers that deliver them.
- Payment providers, which process your payment.
- Public authorities, when we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal information.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Personal information is initially processed in Ireland and may then be transferred outside Europe, including to Canada and the United States, for storage and further processing by Shopify. When an order is shipped to a country outside the European Economic Area, the delivery details are shared with the courier operating in that country. How long we keep it
We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active and for the period required by tax and accounting laws. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will delete the information that we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, updated or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw your consent at any time. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or with our supervisory authority, the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP): https://www.dataprotection.ro.
Automated decision-making
We do not take decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. Shopify uses limited automated checks to prevent fraud, such as the temporary blocking of IP addresses or payment cards associated with repeated failed transactions.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. The Site uses:
- Necessary cookies, required for the Site to work: for example to keep you logged in, to remember your cart and to complete the checkout.
- Analytics cookies provided by Shopify, which help us understand how the Site is used.
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Where required by law, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies when you visit the Site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; if you do, some parts of the Site may not work correctly.
